A teenager is undergoing hospital treatment in Manchester after being shot in his leg last night.
Greater Manchester police (GMP) were called to Colby Walk, Moston, yesterday at 21:50 BST to investigate reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival in the northern area of the city they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower right leg.
"He was taken by paramedics to hospital where he received treatment. He is currently in a stable condition," a GMP spokesperson said.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the Colby Walk area between 21:30 BST and 22:00 BST last night who may have any information to contact them."
