Scottish Life has revealed that its email alerts service has gained over 1,200 subscribers since its launch last year.
The Occupational Pensions Scheme update service was designed by the specialist pensions service to give consumers and businesses more information on growing trends in the pensions industry.
Since its launch, the service has also provided users with guidance from The Pensions Regulator, developments in age discrimination cases and Her Majesty's Revenue and Custom's (HMRC's) changes to line report filing.
Talking about the service, occupational pensions marketing manager James Clark said: "There is a constant stream of information from all over the pension arena and it is difficult to keep up to speed and make sense of it all.
"The email alerts are designed to help pension IFAs and trustees keep their finger on the pulse of key developments at bodies such as the HMRC and the Department for Work and Pensions and are easily accessible from our website."
Scottish Life was founded in 1881 and has been a division of Royal London since the business was transferred to the group in 2001.
