The UK's energy regulator has published a range of measures designed to help domestic gas and electricity customers struggling with fuel poverty.
Ofgem's Fuel Poverty Action Programme includes a number of points debated at a meeting between the body, government representatives and energy suppliers in April.
Measures in the programme include plans for providers to promote their switching services to those without an internet connection, as well as urging suppliers to keep advice groups informed over help available to consumers.
Sir John Mogg, Ofgem's chairman, said: "Last month's Ofgem summit brought together the government, energy companies and those most actively involved in fighting the effects of fuel poverty.
He added that the Fuel Poverty Action programme has "produced a whole series of practical steps to pinpoint help and to tackle" the issue.
Ofgem recently announced plans to create a new consumer panel made up of domestic gas and electricity customers.
The regulator's new Consumers First panel will be established officially at the start of October.
