The topic of cheap electricity from renewable sources is under discussion at the UK's first conference on proposed feed-in tariffs.
Organised by the West Wales Eco Centre and the Environmental Network for Pembrokeshire, the conference at the Nant y Ffin Hotel will address the issue of small-scale electricity generation in the country.
The event will look at how renewable energy projects in Wales can benefit from current and emerging energy policy.
Participants will be given the opportunity to shape future policy on green and affordable electricity.
The conference will be chaired by the UK Sustainable Development Commissioner for Wales Peter Davies and the opening speech will be made by Mick Bates, Assembly Member and Chair of National Assembly Sustainability Scrutiny Committee.
Writing for the Guardian, Jeremy Leggett, executive chairman of Solarcentury, claimed that MPs are starting to realise the importance of solar power as a renewable electricity generation technology of the future.
