Businesses in Cambridge are to get advice on reducing their carbon output at a free event later this month.

Firms will be given tips on improving their energy efficiency from the Environment Agency (EA) and the Institute of Directors at the EA's office in Brampton on April 20th.

Enterprises that are currently worried about the amount they spend on energy may want to consider comparing dual fuel prices and switching to a cheap dual fuel supplier, as well as implementing some of the pointers that will be on offer.

Area manager for the EA Dr Geoff Brighty said the body is "delighted" to be hosting the meeting.

"We have achieved a lot of efficiencies within our own organisation and we are eager to share these green successes with business leaders," he remarked.

The seminar will take place at the EA's office on Bromholme Lane in Brampton and will cover topics ranging from carbon reduction to sustainable procurement.
