Booking a holiday could be a great way for homeowners who have carried out an electricity and gas price comparison and brought down their dual fuel prices to relax and unwind.

And Thailand may be an ideal destination according to one travel operator.

The country was recently found to be one of the most popular places to visit over Easter in a survey by Sainsbury's Travel Money and Jemma Purvis of Kuoni said it offers holidaymakers a range of things to do.

"Stop in Bangkok and explore the city, visiting the floating markets and Grand Palace," she advised, adding the beaches are a great place to relax and enjoy a massage.

She also urged visitors to stay on one of the "beautiful" islands - such as Phi Phi - or head north to enjoy the rural side of Thailand.

All of this may be possible for homeowners who have switched to a cheap electricity provider after taking advantage of an electricity price comparison service.
