Morocco is an ideal destination for those looking to spend the money they saved by switching to a cheap electricity supplier on a holiday.
According to deputy editor for Wanderlust magazine Sarah Baxter, the country provides "the most exotic experience for the shortest flight".
Getting to Morocco takes around three hours by plane and Ms Baxter said visitors will be able to immerse themselves in "wonderful Arabic architecture" and "bustling souks".
It is also great for fans of the outdoors, she observed, noting it is home to some of the highest peaks in north Africa and offers "excellent" surfing on the Atlantic coast, as well as "world-class" whitewater rafting.
Families who want to make the trip to Morocco but are unable to afford one might want to consider carrying out an electricity price comparison, which may find them a cheap electricity supplier, enabling them to save money.
Putting aside extra cash for a holiday is likely to be a necessity for an increasing number of people, as research from the Institute of Payroll Professionals revealed more employees intend to go on a break this year than in 2009.
