Homeowners who take a look at Skyscanner's list of the most popular destinations for June may be inspired to cut back on power consumption or switch energy supplier.
Such a move could result in a raft of savings being made on fuelling a property, such as through cheaper gas and electricity bills.
And with the additional cash, people may be in a position to splash out on a trip to one of the world's most desirable locations.
Top of the list for the month was Malaga, with all of the top four destinations found in Spain.
It was followed by Alicante, Palma and the Canary island of Tenerife, while Dalaman, Faro and New York also made the top ten.
With those results in mind, it is no surprise that Spain is the most popular country for Brits to travel to, followed by the United States, Italy and Turkey.
Those seeking an alternative place in which to spend their savings may wish to consider Poland, which was this week recommended by the Polish National Tourist Office.
