9 out 10 can save money!
The Irish government has set aside €9 million (£7.5 million) to help firms cut their business energy expenditure.
Eamon Ryan, minister for communications, energy and natural resources, announced the cash windfall in Dublin and said up to €70 million will be saved by the companies that are part of the scheme.
Such an amount will be saved through cheap gas and cheap electricity bills, as organisations are able to significantly lower the amount of power they consume.
"In these straightened times, no one can afford to pay for unused energy. Increased energy efficiency is the one sure way to secure enduring reductions in energy use and energy expenditure," the minister noted.
Mr Ryan added the project will aim to help both private and public enterprises save on their fuel costs.
One building that is currently enjoying the benefits of a lower consumption rate is Llangattock Church of Wales Primary School, which Wales Online recently revealed had undergone an energy makeover.
