Tariff Features

  • Go Green product meets the green supply guidelines provided by OFGEM.
  • Green electricity supply that matches a customer's electricity consumption with electricity generated from 100% renewable sources (e.g. If a customer uses 3300kWh of electricity, we will ensure that we match that with 3300kWh of electricity generated from renewable sources).
  • A fixed amount of 1.8 tonnes of a customer's electricity usage will be offset via Climate Care using CERs (Certified Emission Reductions).
  • The customer's gas supply will be gas sourced in the standard manner and 1 tonne fixed offset (with CER's) of the customer's annual gas usage.
  • Variable rate tariff - energy prices may go up or down.
  • No standing charge - only pay for what you use.
  • 500 Tesco Green Clubcard Points awarded annually for each fuel.
  • Online billing - view your bills online.
  • Monthly Direct Debit only.
  • Dual fuel or electric-only - there is no gas-only option.
  • No early termination fees.
  • Notes: If your gas is supplied by an Independent Gas Transporter, an IGT charge of £42 will apply.

E.ON are one of the country's leading electric and gas companies, supplying millions of homes and businesses across the UK. They also offer a range of home energy services, including boiler and central heating installation, maintenance and insurance.

As far as E.ON's green credentials are concerned, they have 21 wind farms located from Cornwall to Northern Ireland. They also built the UK's largest dedicated biomass power station at Lockerbie and they're committed to developing their offshore wind farms in British waters.

E.ON are the world's largest investor-owned electricity and Gas Company. They bought PowerGen in July 2000, though the change was carried out over a long period of time in order to minimise waste and excessive cost.
