Tariff Features
- Dual fuel discount of £264 annually.
- Reduce your energy by utilising a smart meter.
- Online billing (optional paper billing is charged at £1 per month (inc VAT), this is excluded in the cost & savings figures displayed.
- Smart as Standard V3 is a dual fuel tariff with free Smart Meters. This will enable accurate billing and visibility of energy use online through the first:utility website. Customers will be billed using the estimated annual consumption (EAC) for electricity and the Annual Quantity (AQ) for gas given to first:utility by their old supplier when they transfer. This is up until the point that the smart meter is installed, unless they supply meter readings. Each customer will have the ability to submit monthly meter readings via the first:utility customer portal. They will be prompted to do so by email. These readings will then be used to bill the customer as accurately as possible.
- Not available to customers on independent gas or electricity networks.
- Not available where there is an existing prepayment meter.
- No exit fees, however customers will lose their dual fuel discount if they leave within the first year.
- The customer must own the property where the services are located.
