OVO Energy

Ovo Energy are a fairly new company to the energy market. Ovo's aim is to help deliver great value gas and electricity and outstanding customer service to their customers. In addition their goal is to try and make renewable energy available to all their customers.

However with renewable energy being in such short supply being able to supply 100% renewable energy to everyone is a huge task. Ovo Energy therefore have increased the amount in their standard tariff so more people can do their bit for the environment and enjoy great value.

Ovo Energy also offer a 100% renewable tariff for those who want to do even more, which is what Ovo use as part of their environmental responsibility programme.

At the Ovo Barn in Gloucestershire, they are striving to minimise their own carbon footprint, aiming by the end of their first year to be carbon neutral, by making sure they do things in the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly way possible.

Ovo Energy will produce and publish an environmental impact report each year, along with working towards achieving the Carbon Trust Standard, which is awarded to organisations which measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprint.
