Powergen became E.ON from 3 December 2007 and as part of E.ON, they're committed to changing energy for the better.
E.ON are one of the UK's leading power and gas companies, supplying millions of homes and businesses across the country and also offer a range of home energy services, including boiler and central heating installation, maintenance and insurance.
E.ON's green credentials speak for themselves, they've got 21 wind farms located from Cornwall to Northern Ireland, they've recently finished building the UK's largest dedicated biomass power station at Lockerbie and they're developing one of the world's largest offshore wind farms, which will be built here in UK waters.
E.ON bought Powergen in July 2000 and they're the world"s' largest investor-owned electricity and Gas Company. This change has been carried out over a long period of time in order to minimise waste and excessive cost.
