- Rates are guaranteed not to increase before at least 31 March 2011.
- The prices are reviewed every year and customers are given the opporutinity to renew their fixed price each year.
- Early Termination Fee of £50 for Dual Fuel (£25 gas and £25 elec) and £25 for Electricity Only. May be applied to customers changing supplier or transferring tariff.

With effect from the 8th February 2011 the partnership between Sainsbury's Energy and EDF Energy will come to an end, after which all existing Sainsbury's Energy customers will continue to be customers of EDF Energy. EDF Energy customers will no longer be able to collect Nectar points with their energy or benefit from Sainsbury's Energy offers
