Tariff Features

  • Reduce your energy by utilising a smart meter
  • Online tariff and Direct Debit only.
  • All customers will be taken on supply and receive a dumb service until their smart meters are installed. Customers will be able to select a smart meter installation date within 60 days of their supply start date.
  • The prices will be held for a minimum of 3 months from the tariff start date.
  • Not available to customers on independent gas or electricity networks. Property owners only. Not available where existing meter is prepayment meter.
  • No exit penalties, however customer will lose 10% Dual fuel discount if they leave within the first year.
  • Please note that all communication with first:utility will take place via e-mail.

first:utility was launched in September 2008 to offer consumers a genuine alternative to the poor service and lack of competitiveness they perceived as existing in the energy market.

first:utility is an independent electricity and gas supplier based in Warwick, offering electricity and gas services to both domestic and business customers.
