Tariff Features

  • 100% renewable electricity & carbon offset gas (through Climate Care)
  • Meets Ofgem Renewable Obligation target
  • 500 Tesco Green Clubcard Points awarded annually for each fuel (Terms & Conditions apply)
  • Go Green electricity is matched with energy generated from renewable sources
  • 1.8 tonnes of carbon dioxide will be offset for every 12 months the customer is on the tariff, this is the equivalent emissions expected from 3300kWh electricity usage the average domestic usage per year.
  • Where a customer takes Go Green Electricity and Gas, E.ON Energy will offset a token 1 tonne of carbon dioxide from the emissions resulting from the customers gas usage.
  • Pay On Receipt of Bill customers are billed monthly.
  • Monthly Direct Debit customers will receive a minimum of 2 statements per year

Supplier information

E.ON are one of the country's leading electric and gas companies, supplying millions of homes and businesses across the UK. They also offer a range of home energy services, including boiler and central heating installation, maintenance and insurance.

As far as E.ON's green credentials are concerned, they have 21 wind farms located from Cornwall to Northern Ireland. They also built the UK's largest dedicated biomass power station at Lockerbie and they're committed to developing their offshore wind farms in British waters.

E.ON are the world's largest investor-owned electricity and Gas Company. They bought PowerGen in July 2000, though the change was carried out over a long period of time in order to minimise waste and excessive cost.
