"Our beaches are largely unspoilt and uncrowded, so they are ideal for visitors who want to relax and enjoy the views in an idyllic sandy bay," the expert adds.
And if the weather becomes colder or wetter, then activities such as mountain biking and white water rafting may satisfy thrill-seekers.
Taking a summer holiday within the UK, such as in Wales, may also prove to be more affordable than jetting off to foreign shores - and consumers may find they pay for their time there simply by switching energy supplier and enjoying cheap gas and electricity rates.
Recent research by YouGov suggested 74 per cent of adults in Wales say the country's beaches are either good or excellent.
