Good Energy has registered positive results for its energy supply and generation businesses during the second of 2013.
The Wiltshire-based company, which was founded in 2003, has seen the number of electricity customers it supplies increase by around 6,000 - rising from 34,000 during the first half of 2013 (H1) to 40,000 in the second half (H2). It also saw its number of gas customers jump from 11,000 in H1 to 15,000 in H2.
Feed-in tariff sites also rose, reaching 59,000 - compared to H1's figure of 52,000.
Good Energy was also recently awarded joint first place in Which?'s survey of energy supplier customers - the third year in a row it's ranked in the top spot.
Julie Davenport, the green energy supplier's chief executive, commented on the results.
She stated: "We are pleased by the progress made in the latter part of the year across all aspects of the business. With more than 117,000 supply and FIT sites now at the end of January, and financing in the form of equity, debt and proceeds from sales of developed sites, the group is well placed to continue to grow its customer base and continue investment in its generation portfolio.
"The two sections of the business complement each other well, and support the Group to successfully deliver our strategy goals, underpinned by our commitment to a cleaner, greener and more secure energy future in the UK," she concluded.
