Moving to a cheap electricity supplier could free up money and help homeowners rediscover Paris.
According to Veronique Potelet Anty of the Paris Office du Tourisme et des Congres, "a lot of new places to discover" have appeared in the French capital over recent years.
"The city is ever-changing", she observed, adding new museums and revitalised districts are just some of the attractions to have appeared recently.
"More and more visitors … want to discover new aspects of the city, new ways of exploring it and also to visit its outskirts," Ms Anty stated.
She noted areas outside of Paris, such as Versailles, Fontainebleau and Chantilly are popular with tourists, as they can all be easily reached using public transport.
Ms Anty was commenting after figures from Octopus Travel revealed Paris - along with London and Barcelona - is one of the most popular destinations for those taking a city break in July and August this year.
