Police in West Yorkshire have arrested six people after a woman's body was found in a house in Bradford.

The remains are thought to be that of a 42-year-old woman, who has not yet been named.

West Yorkshire police said five men, aged between 31 and 50, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.

A 45-year-old woman has also been arrested and all six are in police custody and will be questioned later today.

Detectives made the grim find at midday yesterday at a property in Ryan Street, West Bowling.

A police spokesman confirmed that the death is being treated as suspicious and a murder inquiry has been launched.

Anyone with any information about the incident has been urged to contact police.
