With increases in energy prices in recent years, it is often cited as a good idea to fix the price you pay for your gas and electricity with a fixed rate tariff.

There are various term fixed rate tariffs available, from shorter 1 year fixed tariffs to tariffs that lock in prices for up to three or four years from now.

To provide yourself with protection against price increases over the next couple of years you may want to consider signing up to a two year fixed rate gas and electrciity tariff. The table below shows the current market leading 2 year fixed rate energy tariffs, along with the tariffs end date. This is the date that your pices would be fixed until.
