Avro Energy | Compare Gas & Electric Prices

There's no price cap on business energy. Compare deals to find cheaper prices than your supplier's out of contract rates.

Who is Avro Energy?

Avro Energy was launched in 2012 with the aim of offering a simple alternative for home energy supply.

The supplier’s founding members looked at what was on offer and found the energy market to be far too complicated and weighted against the average household being able to find the best deals - not least because of the number of conflicting tariffs on offer and the use of complex concepts and terms being used unnecessarily.

Avro Energy became live in the market and began offering consumers an alternative to the more traditional energy suppliers in December 2015.

Since then, the West Midlands based energy firm has grown in size and reputation, and now supplies more than 40,000 households with electricity and 30,000 with gas.

Avro Energy offers low priced energy coupled with simplicity of choice, which it achieves through keeping overheads to a minimum and keeping the level of marketing commissioned.

Avro Energy prides itself on offering simplicity and savings on your energy bills.

What is Avro Energy's fuel mix?

Electricity is generated from a combination of different fuels, including nuclear, coal and renewable sources (wind, hydro and solar). The different amounts of each fuel contributed makes up a supplier’s fuel mix.

Although energy companies should publish details of their fuel mix, Avro Energy is still to do this, even though it has been supplying customers since 2015.
