Outfox the Market | Compare Gas & Electric Prices | UK Power
Who is Outfox the Market?
Launched in 2017 as an independent UK energy company, Outfox the Market is one of the newest companies to enter the energy supply game.
As with most new energy companies, Outfox the Market wants to help households cut their energy bills by offering a viable and cost-effective alternative to the established players. It plans to do this by tracking the wholesale energy market to offer tariffs when rates are low - and the deals on offer are consistently among the lowest around, so it’s worth checking their tariffs if you’re looking for a low-rate deal.
Outfox the Market has also put energy efficiency and renewables high upon its list of priorities. It aims to help households to cut their carbon footprint by supplying 100% renewable, clean electricity, generated solely from offshore wind farms. It estimates that this will help to prevent more than 1.1 tonnes of carbon from entering the atmosphere every year.
Every unit of electricity supplied to customers byt Outfox the Market has a Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificate attached to it, so you can be confident your power is coming from renewable sources.
What is Outfox the Market’s fuel mix?
Electricity is generated from a combination of different fuels, including nuclear, coal and renewable sources (wind, hydro and solar). The different amounts of each fuel contributed makes up a supplier’s fuel mix.
Here is Outfox the Market’s electricity fuel mix as of April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019:
