The Utility Warehouse is operated by Telecom Plus plc. Telecom Plus have three bands of energy tariffs. Value – at least 0.5% cheaper compared to the ‘Big 6’ suppliers. Gold (for customers also taking Home Phone and Broadband) – at least 2.5% cheaper compared to the ‘Big 6’ suppliers. Double Gold (for customers also taking Home Phone, Broadband and Mobile) – at least 5% cheaper compared to the Big Six suppliers. Utility Warehouse guarantees to always put you on their cheapest available tariff.

Members of the Utility Warehouse can also receive savings on landline, mobile and broadband services, as well as receiving everything on one statement.

Utility Warehouse provides over 500,000 homes and small businesses throughout the UK with gas and electricity, landline phone, mobile and broadband services. The more services you take the more money you can save. There is no minimum contract term for most of the services.

Utility Warehouse avoid spending customers’ money on expensive advertising campaigns, instead, they rely on personal recommendation from satisfied customers and Independent Distributors. Members can also earn shopping vouchers by referring friends.

What is Utility Warehouse’s fuel mix?

Electricity is generated from a combination of different fuels, including nuclear, coal and renewable sources (wind, hydro and solar). The different amounts of each fuel contributed makes up a supplier’s fuel mix.

How to complain to Utility Warehouse

If you need to make a complaint about Utility Warehouse, you first need to raise the issue with them directly, to give them a chance to put it right.

If you manage your Utility Warehouse account online, log in to your and fill out the form within your account page under the contact us menu.

You can also register your complaint by calling 0333 777 0777 between 9am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 4:30pm on Saturday.

Always make a note of the date and time you called, and take the name of any customer service team members you speak to.

If your complaint isn’t resolved within eight weeks, or you’re unhappy with Utility Warehouse’s decision or handling of your complaint, you can then escalate your complaint to the energy ombudsman who can get Utility Warehouse to look at your complaint again, decide they made the right decision, or force them to give you a response to your complaint.

In some cases, the ombudsman might tell Utility Warehouse to offer you financial compensation.
