Comparing electricity prices may be one of the few options householders in the UK have left to beat the predicted rise in energy prices.

With five of the six largest energy suppliers represented in Westminster, it is ominous news for those who wish to reduce their monthly outgoings on power.
One of the industry insiders suggested homes may be charged between 15 and 25 per cent more than they currently are by 2020, the news source states.
Comparing electricity prices via an online portal such as UK Power could be one solution for some people, with a more affordable deal perhaps available from another company.
A report by the Guardian also recently noted power charges are surging upwards, suggesting business energy customers may have to go green in order to cope with the financial pressures of this.
