X Factor fans could stay at 'Louis Walsh's house' after switch of energy provider

Between 1 July 2019 and 31 December 2019, at least 10% of people who switched energy supplier for both gas & electricity with Uswitch saved £479 or more.

Homeowners who complete a switch of energy provider may soon find they have saved enough cash to avoid a short break at a luxury retreat.

And those who keep up to date with ITV show X Factor could opt to enjoy such a treat at the Irish hotel that doubled up as Louis Walsh's house recently.

The five-star hotel in the village of Adare was used by Walsh and his guest Sharon Osbourne in order to whittle down eight pop star hopefuls to three contenders for the live shows.

"Adare itself is a pretty little village. It's always been almost referred to as a little English village in Ireland because it's quite unique [and] it's very pretty," explains John Lahiffe, publicity manager for Tourism Ireland.

A switch of energy provider could result in people building up a pool of cash large enough to pay for a few nights at the top-quality accommodation.

Travelsupermarket.com has reported there has been a significant rise in searches for the destinations visited by not only Walsh but also Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue.
