In the first price drop by any of the big six energy companies in six months, E.ON has announced today that it will be reducing its standard gas price by 5.1%.
This drop of 5.1% is the equivalent of three weeks’ gas use which could take around £32 off an average annual residential energy bill. All four E.ON dual fuel tariffs will be reduced in price as a result of these changes. The price drop will be put in place from the 1st February.
E.ON have also announced a market leading tariff, which is available for new and existing customers. The new tariff is a one year fixed price dual fuel deal and as of today (the 20th January 2016) it is the cheapest tariff available in Britain.
Existing customers can switch between E.ON products directly through E.ON without paying an exit fee. However, if you are currently with another energy supplier, why not get in touch with us at UKPower.co.uk and see if you can make a saving by switching to this – or another – energy tariff.
