SSE customer service director John Keeling said while the results were highly pleasing, there was still room for improvement within the company.
He commented: "It is no coincidence that we continue to have the best customer service in the industry. We recognise that excellent customer service is just as important to our customers as price.
"Although we have the best customer service in the industry and are way ahead of our nearest competitor, we know that there is still more we can do."
The company's successes in the surveys have come after it launched a new scheme to offer financial incentives to customers who become energy-efficient and use less electricity during a calendar year.
